Shoebox Angels: Our Donors
and Volunteers
Operation Shoebox extends warm wishes
to our many donors, volunteers, and supporters. In addition,
we want to thank you all for the generous contribution of your time
and gifts to the poor and under-served people of Honduras.
These residents of the poorest country in Central America have
endured continuing hardships since Hurricane Mitch destroyed their homes
and crops last year. Your gifts of over 500,000 pounds of food, clothing
and medicines have eased the pain of many. Your shoebox gifts have brought
joy to the hearts of over 32,000 destitute children. Please accept
our heartfelt thanks on their behalf.
In addition to the groups and business listed, we would like
to recognize the many school children, parents, businesses, TV,
and radio stations, newspapers, social service groups, churches,
and anonymous donors who are too numerous to list.
Please extend your thanks to our donors as well. If you are not presently
involved, please consider helping us help the poor this year.
We promise that working with Operation Shoebox will make a difference
in your life and in the lives of ordinary people who dream of good health,
